Botanical Tea Mini Album

Hi everyone hope you are all having a fabulous week! We have a long weekend coming up, and I am so looking forward to it, hopefully the weather co-operates.

I am popping in tonight to share a mini album that I have made. I am new to making mini albums, this is my second one actually. To make this mini album I followed a tutorial by Ginger at My Sisters Scrapper. This tutorial is her Pocket Page Mini Album that she posted in July of 2013. If you are new to mini albums her tutorials are awesome. She gives you great detailed instructions, and also lists all of her measurements beneath her videos. Check her out!

I have had this mini album done now for a couple of months, but I do believe that for some of the decorated pages I used ideas from other tutorials as well, but I am so sorry that I don't remember which ones.

To make this mini album I used Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Paper collection, including the tags, banners, and the sticker sheet. I just love this paper collection, it is one of my favorites, it will make anything you create look beautiful!

So here is the front of my mini album.

Wedding Card

Hi everyone hope you are all having a fabulous week so far! I just wanted to share a card with you that I made for one of my co-workers. Her daughter got married on the weekend, and she asked me to make a special card for her. She sent me a picture of her bouquet so that I could get some inspiration for the card!

Here is a picture of what her bouquet was going to look like!

Here is the card that I made for her!

The Inside!

For the Hydrangea I follow a tutorial that I found here. This tutorial was awesome and I just love how it turned out. So Beautiful! To make the hydrangea circles I used Spellbinder Die Standard Circles (LG).  For the hydrangea flowers I used a hydrangea punch by Martha Stewart. I colored it by sponging on Memento Ink Summer Sky and then using Tim Holtz Distress ink Faded Jeans around the edges. To make the roses I used Cherry-Lynn dies Build a Flower Embellishment #2 and Build a Flower #2. I colored the petals by sponging on Ranger Sea Shells inks Conch Shell and Peach Bellini.  I used Spellbinders Dies Imperial Square, and Devine Floral on the front of the card, as well as a Memory box die Norwich Corner.  On the inside I used Spellbinders die Scalloped Boarders Two. The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread designs Wedding Blessings!

Guest Designer at The Butterfly Challenge

Hi everyone I was lucky enough to win a challenge at The Butterfly Challenge, and Mrs. A has asked me to be a Guest Designer for her challenge this week. So Lucky! I love her challenge because you always have to incorporate a butterfly somewhere on your project. I love using butterflies, so I try to play along with her challenge as much as I can. The theme for the challenge this week is Butterflies and T is for Talisman. Talisman =  a species of charm engraved on metal or stone to which wonderful effects are ascribed. For my project you will notice that I have used a butterfly charm!

Here is my creation for this weeks challenge. I decided to make a Birthday card for one of my Crafty Peeps! I just love my crafty peeps they are the best!  I went with a pop-up book card fold, and I followed a tutorial at Splitcoaststampers you will find the link here.  I used Time to Flourish cardstock by Graphic 45, Spellbinders dies Imperial Square, Labels 42, Classic Squares, a Stampin up stamp was used on the inside of the card, and VersaMagic chalk in Pretty Petunia was used around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Crafting!
